i want to use roku. i have loaded it but it will not pick up wifi. tv is samsung LN46A550P3F DATED 10/08
JA: How old is your Samsung, and have you tried unplugging it and leaving it off for a few hours?
Customer: NO
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: no just wifi reception
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: its possible that new directv modem is the issue

The TV itself has no bearing on the Roku picking up Wi Fi or not. That said, I need to ask you some questions to figure out what the problem is.

1) Which model Roku is this (1,2,3,4 - stick)?

2) Was it working before and then stopped?

3) What exactly do you see on your TV screen?

Okay, so did the issue occur right after the new modem was installed??

Because when a new modem is installed, you need to reset the Roku to factory defaults and set it up from scratch/enter the new model info. Did you do that?
