My Samsung curve is frozen on red X with an 8 below it...every heard of this?
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: its a 60 inch curve and i have had for 3 years...where would i fing the model number
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: only issues is with the ATT input
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: it just started late last night and i had just hooked up my playstation to play madden right before....when i turned off ps3 and tried to switch back to ATT this happened
JA: Is there anything else important you think the TV Technician should know?
Customer: no

Please try this:

-leave the tv On

-locate the POWER cord for the att tv box/dvr and unplug it

-count to 10 then plug it in

-watch the tv screen as the att box boots up
