Facing TV Problems? Ask a TV Technician.
Hello, My name is ***** ***** I'll be helping you with this.I am reviewing your question and will post again momentarily. Please send me a hello in the mean time so i know you can see my reply ?
What type of cables /connection do you have between the cable box and tv ?
By the way , the phone and other offers are automated by the website , not sent by me
O.k then , would it be HDMI 1 for example ?
You are able to select the correct hdmi input and it says no signal ?
Can you try another hdmi input ?
It does happen that a single input will fail
O.k now this is odd , you mean that it works and then it sends that message ???
Could you please give me the model number written on the tv`s back cover ?
Give me a few minutes please
Sorry this takes a while lost the internet for a while
Do you have much programmed items done on this tv ?
We could try a factory reset but you will get back to first time setup.
Been looking for an option to turn off the no activity time out but no luck so far , some tv have it
I am still looking if you want to wait a bit longer
Try this as a last ditch attempt but you will lose all your setup and have to restart them but at this point not much to lose
There is at least 2 more ways of resetting this tv beside the standard "arrow up on the remote and power on the tv itself"
You can see those at the link below;https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/75705/p/61659,95543,95552,95718/c/65,66/kw/factory%20reset
This is an odd problem but i can tell you that it is definitely sitting on the tv`s main board , namely its eeprom and perhaps a firmware upgrade would do it if the reset does not work ; https://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-home.pl?mdl=XBR75X850C&template_id=1®ion_id=1&tab=download#/downloadTab
Good luck with that
