Thank you for that info.
Usually this is a failing remote control. There is another board inside this TV that receives the signals, and that can fail as well. But in this instance, it sounds more like just the remote is failing. But try one thing for me?
Unplug your TV from the wall (power) for 5 full minutes, in the meantime, replace the batteries with ONLY Brand New Duracell Batteries. But when you change the batteries, check the contacts in the battery box on the remote. make sure they all look clean bright and shiny, if they dont, please let me know.
If all looks good, replace the batteries. Then plug your TV back in, this causes a rest of the electronics.
If all works then Great!
But if not you will need a new exact replacement remote control for your TV.
The best place to get that is either of these two websites:
www.remotes.com and www.mrremote.com
They have brand new exact replacement remotes for just about every device out there;-)
Also they ship quickly, the same day you call to place your order.
All they will need from you is the full model # of your TV and the payment method.
