I have no service. My TV screen is filled with dots.
JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: TV is a Sony. There is a "no signal" message on the screen filled with dots.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Have not done trouble shooting I have no idea what to do.

It would appear as though you have the set in the wrong input mode, so please pick up the TV remote and look for the INPUT or SOURCE button (or if you are using HDMI a dedicated HDMI button) and continually press this button until you get your TV signal through from any box you may be using, let me know how it works out
