TV just doesn't come on, .LC-52LE810UN. Maybe 2012, TV menu

Customer Question

TV just doesn't come on
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: .LC-52LE810UN. Maybe 2012
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: TV menu does not work. Checked out cable with other TV and cable works fine. Not able to view inputs screen because that doesn't come on. All I have is a blank screen.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Occasionally it would go off but came back on.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the expert should know?
Customer: Just wondering if it's worth fixing. The TV was registered with you so you would know the exact year.

Blank screen, is there sound coming from the tv speakers?

What is the power indicator on the front panel doing? on or off or blinking?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
There is no sound coming from the speakers. The light stays on -- no blinking

Please try this:
-unplug the tv POWER cord from the wall outlet.
-wait 3 full minutes then plug in the tv power cord and try to turn on using the button on the tv itself (not remotes).

REPLY back here and tell me what happens.
