JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: It's a 65 inch about 7 years old
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Nothing shows up on the screen with anything.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Happened overnight. Worked fine when I turned it off last night but wouldn't when I turned it on this morning.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the TV Technician should know?

So you do have background light with sound

Now this would normally point to a defective t-con board but I can tell you that you also have the exact symptoms of a failed LCD panel for this serie , I have seen 5 or 6 of those in the last few weeks , sorry

If you want to give a shot t the t-con I will find it for you
