JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your smart tv?
Customer: It is a Hitachi 55' inch Smart TV
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Yes the TV menu does work. I only tried to watch Nexflix & YouTube
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Not sure what happen before, except one of my tv's was disconnected from another room just before this occurred.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: The message that comes on the screen is. "We're unable to connect you to Nexflix. Please try again or visit www.netflix.com/help. The same message with You tube.

Can you please remove the power to the TV (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then on the actual TV, hold the power button for 60 seconds then release.

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

No, can you remove the power to the wifi router wait five minutes, connect the power, restart the TV and tell me if it then connects please

ok, I want you to do a full reset of the TV please

To do this go to the menu, setup, and choose Reset AV & Setup

Once done, you will need to set it up again like when you first received it, so connect to wifi and then it should work
