I have a Panasonic TC-P42S30 Plasma TV. When i turned it on

Customer Question

I have a Panasonic TC-P42S30 Plasma TV. When i turned it on this morning the displayed briefly and the screen went black. The LED light at the bottom of the screen blinks 6 times. I did the usual First Aid by disconnecting power with no effect. Can this TV be repaired? And is it worth repairing?
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: TC-P4230. It is approximately 4 years old
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: The TV is totally unresponsive
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: The screen displayed a program briefly and then instantly went dead.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Geek Squad suggested the problem is with the power supply and could have been destroyed by leaking gases.
