I received a shipment of a vizio 55" D series HD TV & I set

I received a shipment of a vizio 55" D series HD TV & I set it up and found that the screen is cracked
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Vizio is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: I just received it via UPS so it's brand new-Model D55-EO
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: The power goes on and nothing shows up on the screen-the screen is cracked across the bottom as if it was dropped
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: As I said the TV is brand new-I received it via UPS this afternoon 4/17/2017
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
