I want to connect my blu ray dvd player to tv but have no signal on tv
JA: What's the exact make and model of your television? And what have you tried as far as getting this connected goes?

JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: yes the others work but the one in bedroom doesn't since I was trying to hook up the player I can't get regular tv
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I was going to play a movie and when I stopped it could not go back to tv channels

Please get the model number off of the back of the TV and also get the Brand and Model of your Blu Ray player. I also need to know what type of cable you're using (HDMI, etc.). Reply back with that info and I can help you.

I'm unsure why you're unable to reply, but on MOST Insignia TV's the "Source" or "Input" button on the remote is what allows you to change sources. Can you find that button?

The TV model number is ***** valid- that's a serial number. Anyhow, is the Blu Ray connected to the TV using an HDMI cable? Additionally, ARE you able to find a button on the Insignia remote labeled "Input" or "Source" please?

I'm unsure how you confirmed this, but if they are then it would seem your TV either has a hardware failure or the processor has locked up. Please try the steps below:

1) Unplug the TV's power cord.

2) Press and hold the power button on the TV itself (not the remote) for 15 seconds and release.

3) Wait a minute then plug the TV back in.

Let me know if the remote works.
