Customer Question

I have a Roku stick on my HD TV. When I select a program on Amazon Prime, the program will start and then buffer constantly. Why is it buffering? I have a fiber optic internet connection with plenty of bandwidth. I can watch the Amazon Prime programming on my lap top without a problem.
JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It is a Panasonic, model TC-P50ST30. It's about 5 years old.
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: No problem with anything else. Actually, I watched a program on Netflix through the Roku stick without a problem.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I didn't use the Roku until recently. That was when I had trouble with Amazon. I don't recall using Amazon before.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of.

Hello. My name is Michael. I can help you with your question.

Based on what you describe. the problem would have to be with Wireless network connection when it is on your TV.

Do you have both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bands on your router?
