Trying to set up a Samsung UN32EH5300F where wireless

Customer Question

Trying to set up a Samsung UN32EH5300F where wireless function no longer works and have been asked for my "pin number." What is it in this instance and how can I get it?
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: Model #UN32EH5300F, bought 1-2011.
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Worked fine until it dropped the cable signal, other apps worked, but Samsung tech told me wireless function no longer worked after inserting "8888" into spec box did not fix, sol now I'm trying to set it up as a "dumb" TV, will then attach a Roku to get some smartness back.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Smart function on cable signal stopped working for cable only (other apps like Netflix worked) - happened a day or two ago.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No
