Customer Question

The TV screen has a picture froma TV show I watched this afternoon frozen on the screen.
JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Brand new, got for Xmas,Insignia NS-RC4N-17
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Yes, menu works fine, all other TVs are working. I am presently resetting the Dish
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I was watching TV this afternoon, the picture on the screen froze. Tried changing channels, nothing, so I turned the TV off. Turned it on a few minutes ago and the same picture is still on the screen.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?

Hi , I`m Jack , I will be helping you today

First thing to do here ;

Unplug the TV's power cord and hold the power button directly on the tv ,keep holding it for 20 secs or so then let the tv sit unplugged for a couple of minutes before you try it again.

You could unplug the cable box power cord as well during that time

Expert:  Jack replied 6 months ago.

Note that the cable box will take a couple of minutes to reboot
