Hey you there?

First, reboot the Cable/SAT box by disconnecting it from power for 10 seconds and plugging it back in. Upon rebooting,
if the screen aspect is still incorrect, then look for the following buttons on the Cable/SAT remote:

HD Zoom
(#) symbol under the 9 key
Find any buttons with those labels and use them to attempt to correct the picture size. Let me know what happens.

I don't use a cable box since I'm using 1080p from my computer
And under the format there's only normal wide zoom cinema, and all of them crops part of the image

I am sorry that could be anything and is likely to be with the computer not the TV, you can prove that by simply trying a DVD player

I did use apple TV same thing happened. Image is scaled
I did get into service menu to adjust the overscan to 0 but that will reset everytime TV restarts
