everything works fine, except that I am not getting the wirespeed of my IPS on the tv. Vizio says that the wlan card is bad
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Vizio is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: 3 years old. E3901-A1 model number
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Yes the TV menu works. In the setting for the wlan mac is that why vizio says it is the nic but I have my service directly connected from my router with a cat 5e cable.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I noticed the slow internet speed when I got a hulu account;
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: That my wirespeed is good I used the same cable from the tv to my desktop and labtop and did a speed test and got 30mbps on both devices

What is telling you that the wlan card is bad?

If you are getting speeds like 30mbps, then it sounds like it is fine.

The MAC address shouldn't be all zeroes. What device has that mac address?

WLAN MAC has all zeros.
