Please shut the TV off then unplug the SAT box power cord for 10 seconds and plug it back in.
Plug the Cable/SAT box back into AC and once it's rebooted turn the TV on, and use the INPUT button on the original TV remote to select the correct Input.
Let me know what happens.
You need to know which specific Input you normally view your satellite box on. If you're unsure, follow the cables from the back of the box to the back of the TV. They are labeled where they plug into on the TV. Select the input that corresponds with the label.
Okay, so select AV2. Any info at all from the box displaying on the TV?
I don't know what that means. You're saying you see "l+r" on your TV screen?

Are you using only the tv here, or is there any type of audio/video system (receiver, soundbar, etc) connected?
