Customer Question

I have been having Spanish on one tv show then next show is English. What is reason for this. Commercials are always in English
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: It is a year old
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Everything works fine. Just changes to Spanish.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: We had a new cable box put in about month ago. Started then. Other tvs in home do not do this
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: That's all.

Hi, I'm Nathan.
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble, but I'll do my best to help you. Please give me a few moments to review your details here.

This is most likely a setting on the new cable box,

take your cable remote, and look for a button that says SAP. If you see that, press it, repeatedly if needed, to set it to Off.

If you don't see that, go into the cable box menu/settings, and look (usually under Audio/Sound, Accessibility, or Options) for the SAP, MTS, or Language option, which you'll set to Off or English.

Let me know if that works for you.
