Hi. I have a fairly new (last 3 or 4 months probably) service and box and remote. The remote isn't working tonight.
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: I don't know. Let me look. The TV might be 3 years old or so. Model is LG 50PA5500-UA
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: I don't know what you mean actually. The remote will turn the TV on and now will bring up the Guide, but it doesn't populate the Guide with any information.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I just turned the TV on a few minutes ago. At first, I couldn't get the Guide to come on. I just turned it off and can now get the Guide, but not showing any shows or content
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?

Can you tell me what box you are using? Cable or satellite?
Is the issue with that remote, or the cable/sat remote?
