Hi hi how do I turn off the subtitles on my Sony bravia
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: 55w807b
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Tht thats my problem where is the menus on the remote
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Just started now when I turned on the tv

The subtitles may not be coming from the tv.

If you are using apps, or an aerial they may, you'd press the Home button twice actually, then you should see the options from there (look for 3 horizontal lines or a gear/wrench icon) and you'll find it in the menu.

If you are using a cable or satellite service, you'd look for the subtitle (captions or CC) setting in the box menu instead of the tv.
