-Are you able to navigate the tv menu using the original Panasonic remote?

First try a Factory Reset in the Tv menu under the SYSTEM menu. Then test if you still have the same issue. Next try a Firmware update from the Panasonic support page: http://shop.panasonic.com/tvs/all-tvs/TC-50CX400U.html Then test some more if you still have the same issue. Next option is to contact Panasonic(###) ###-####and obtain warranty service to perform diagnosis/repairs on the tv.
