My SV472XVT comes on fine each morning, however after a while the picture starts flipping over and over. I called Directv and they tell me to contact Vizo for help. Can you help me find out what is wrong? It is on now and working fine
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: Purchased on 5/10/2010
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Yes it does when the TV works like right now
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It has been about a week and no problem up to that point.
JA: Anything else you want the tv expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Would like a solution to the problem. My wife and I are in our 80's and retired and don't need any extra expenses at this time

Hello, Sorry you're having problems.

The picture flipped over and over could be as much the fault of the DirecTv Box, as it could the TV. That said, further testing is needed to conclude that. What I would need to know is this:

When the picture starts flipped, if you grab the original Vizio remote and press MENU, does the set's own MENU remain stable and solid please?

Also, what promoted DirecTv to conclude that the issue was not with their box?
