It is plugged directly into the wall for cable, keeps asking me to run channel auto scan
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: ELEFW408 - couple years old
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Menu works fine, I can run movies thru hdmi
from a laptop. When I have TV as source it just keeps asking me to run channel auto scan. I even changed cords to for cable connection
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: This is the first time I have tried to connect this tv to cable. I have only ever used it as a laptop monitor before this.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Yes, is this an issue with Element? Should I just get a different TV for watching cable?
