Hi and welcome to JustAnswer.

Thank you for the question and your patience.

Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...

Initially, what seems to be wrong with the TV?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Tv will not turn on. Screen blank. Orange light is on. Power outlet changed. Other devices on that power outlet are working. Pushing power button on TV does not change light to green. TV does not respond to remote either

Anyone there?

Thank you for allowing me time to review the information and compose my reply.

Are you then considering a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair approach? If yes, do you have access to and familiar with a multi-meter (and even perhaps a soldering iron)?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I do have a multi meter and a soldering iron. I am hoping not to have to rebuild this thing.

I was reviewing the technician's Service Manual hence the delay.

The described symptom almost always require repair works internally.

Would you be comfortable proceeding?

What is your plan?
Expert:  Louie replied 10 months ago.

Propose to open up the rear cover. When able post back with clear pictures of the internal layout.

This would serve as a common reference.

Okay. Will take awhile, have to remove tv from mount. Do you know what model I have? Does it matter? I don't want to have this thing all over the room to no solution. I'm not confident with this response.

Then perhaps you would prefer a second opinion and/or an alternate approach to your concern.

Let me re-open the question as I would rather opt out.

Still, good luck with the Vizio L32HDTV10A.
