That being said , a few questions coming up ;

The screen is lit but no picture ?

Still have sound ?

What is the pin out on a lsjb1224-1 power supply board on a hitachi 55hds69 plasma tv. Specifically i'm referring to the connector which feeds the x-sus and y-sus boards. I was told the pin out was 1-3 vs1, 4-6 gnd, 7-8 vcc and 9-10 va1. That is referenced from the top down (pin 1 at the top). I have no voltage out of this connector.

the screen is not lit but i still have audio

Please opt out, I would need another expert
Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

Hello, I'm Shahid. Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this but I'll do my best to help.

Expected Va volts are 60V and Vs volts are 80V.

Please disconnect connector of power supply board that feeds x-sus and y-sus, turn On the TV and check Va and Vs volts again. What readings you get on meter?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have already done as you suggest and I get 0vdc with pin 7-8 referenced as dc common and vs1 and vs2 being dc+
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
vs1 should be va1
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
vs2 should be va1, sorry
Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

OK, please press power button on TV to turn it On while taking reading for Va and Vs.

If still no volts reading appears then replace the power supply board.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Power button was in the on state with audio present. I have already replaced the power supply board still no output. Do I have the pinouts correct?
Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

Yes, it would be CN64 connector. Do you get 5V Vcc at pin 3-4 of CN64 connector of power supply board?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Let me check, I'll be right back. Thanks
Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

Sure, take your time.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
At conn 64 between pins 3 and 4 I get ovdc
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
TV was powered up when I checked
Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

Please note that Va, Vs and Vcc volts may appear for a second as sustain boards are disconnected.

One clarification, please revert the pin configuration of CN64 connector, count pin-1 at bottom and pin-10 at top that will help to count the pins for correct reading.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I will have to recheck I was counting from top to bottom
Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

OK, count from bottom to top.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I get 6vdc between 3 and 4
Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

OK but no Va and Vs, correct?

Please replug the connector at CN64 and again check Va and Vs reading, do you get volts even for a second when turn On the TV?

Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

Also, did you get replacement power supply board from reputable source?

Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

I need 20 minutes break now so get back with you in 20 minutes.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I had to check voltages at connector CN21 on the x-sus board. (pin 1 at far right, pin 10 on far left)
between pins 1-8 0vdc
between pins 10-8 0vdc
between pins 3-4 0vdc
readings taken at each point as the set powers up with all connectors connected
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I got the board from Tri-state Module in Evansville Indiana. It has a 180 day warranty, I don't know if it is a reputable source, they have a website that appears legit.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I checked my dvm on a car battery and it reads 12.5 vdc so the meter is functioning. Just thought you might be concerned about that.
Expert:  Shahid replied 1 year ago.

You have already tested Vcc 5V with that meter so it is working fine.

Power supply board seems bad as it should provide volts.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
My concern is this:
Does this set perform a self diagnosis prior to power up. If so it might recognize a problem and the cpu not allow the power supply to provide voltage. There are some leds on the board adjacent to the external input/output jacks on the back of the set. what do the leds indicate and should any of them be lit or not (ie all green if all ok, or red if not ok)
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Both the original board and the replacement board provide the same output voltage readings. I can't be sure but I would think it unlikely that both boards are defective.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Vcc 5v is not present when all connectors are installed.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I think we will call it a day. Thanks for your help. I'll continue this conversation with you later.
Have a good evening and again thanks.
