Hi pearl my samsung tv LN52a860s2f have power but it screen is totally black

Technician's Assistant: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?

Two years more.

Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

I think it's working ,when push power bottom red light on,volume and channel work, no sound,screen is totally black.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

Three weeks ago ,it was suddenly stop.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?

Sorry you are having trouble here, if the red light is lit solid that would indicate the set is in standby mode (off) if you press the manual buttons on the set itself for on\off like a dedicated button or the channel change does anything happen?

Actually I don't have the remote anymore and I'm using the manual button on/off,channel,volume are working .

I'm so sorry, I'm in the small island in the Pacific ocean and our net is kind of slow and phone service is poor.
