Hi , I`m Jack
Perhaps I can help you with this problem , a few questions coming up and please note that it may take a few minutes between replies;

What you hit was more than likely the input button

Now depending on the brand of your tv it may be called SOURCE ,INPUT or TV/VIDEO , look on your tv`s remote for such a button and press it repeatedly to go through the various inputs until you get back to the cable box /satellite and you`re done

Let me know how that goes and if that answers your question please do not forget to rate by clicking on the star icons at the top, then click on Submit so i get paid for my time helping you .
