Something (maybe lightening) caused me to loose my TV

Customer Question

Something (maybe lightening) caused me to loose my TV equipment. After troubleshooting discovered that I also lost Xfinity cable box. Replacement cable box works with another replacement HDMI TV , but not with original LG TV on either HDMI input. TV powers up, but still intermittently responds to remote for a while, then quits and need to be unplugged to be reset. Also setup screen that shows selection for setup screen deterreates after a while by becoming unstable with jitter.
JA: Has this happened before? And have you tried unplugging your LG and leaving it off for a few hours?
Customer: NO
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Only tried the HDMI
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Never happened B4,
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I think lightening is a factor

Welcome, I noticed that you were processed through the website's automated "introduction". Please understand that every visitor to the website gets those exact same computer generated responses, word for word. Honestly, had an actual technician welcomed you here, a very different greeting would have been presented.

-What is the model number of the tv? or at least the screen size?

-What is the age of the tv?
