On Sony Bravia tv model KDL40EX640 input is locked on PC mode. Unable to change input with tv or Cablevision remotes or manually on tv. No picture just message...No signal Check external input or select another input using the INPUT button.

I won't know if problem fixed until factory reset is complete. Tv states it will take 50 minutes

No then you have done this wrong, you need to do it again a message should come up on screen and the set will switch off then back on again, if you are watching via an antenna you will need to retune the set if watching via a box no change just select input for the box, whole process will take about 5 mins

If the TV is not ON switch it ON please then you may need to press the INPUT button on the TV own remote to get to the box
