I have an Panasonic DMRPWT530 player and want to connect it to my AWA TV I was told to us HDMI leads but to no avail - I am in my late 70s but would like to be able to tape and play movies, can you help me please?

What is the make/model of the tv?

Okay you do need a hdmi lead, that is the only option for connecting these 2 devices,

that needs to connect to the HDMI OUT port on the back of the panasonic, and to the input (such as hdmi1) on the back side of the tv.

Use the AWA remote, pressing the source/input button, repeatedly, until it gets to the corresponding hdmi1 mode, and then turn the player on and use the player remote to operate the system.
