Hello, My name is ***** ***** I'll be assisting you. I'm sorry you're having problems. In order to assist you, I need to ask for more info.

1) What is the full model number off of the back of the Samsung?

2) When did the issue occur- were there any storms, or power outages?

3) Does the set chime by itself after it shuts down, or only after you press the power button on the remote, or the TV itself?
