Facing TV Problems? Ask a TV Technician.
Hi , I`m JackPerhaps I can help you with this problem
The buttons directly on the tv can be used to navigate the TV's menu , give me a few minutes and I will show you how its done and where to go for the PC adjust options
O.k so you already know how to use the buttons on the tv to navigate the menu ?
This would save time
O.k then I`ll tell you what you need and also give you the manual that describes it quite good
Open the menu and scroll down to DETAILS , open this and go to PC SETTINGS , open this and you will see the horizontal and vertical adjust but I would try the AUTO ADJUSMENT and that may be all you need
Here is the manual , look on page 30 ; http://data.manualslib.com/pdf/17/1676/167582-sylvania/lc225ssx.pdf?af4d70776dab14ef9937dce502c12e26&take=binary

I meant the tv set to the PC input
You need to be connected VGA and the input set to PC
got any picture on that screen , any VGA signal ?
Not aclue then , I`m opting out
Hello, This is Aric a different expert. Jack had to run and assist another customer at the moment, but I will be glad to help you.
VGA is the term for a standard "Video Graphics Array" cable- which is the most commonly used cable to connect a PC to a monitor. So what Jack was saying was that the settings he provided will ONLY work, if your PC is connected to the TV using a VGA cable. So in order to do this, you remove the HDMI connection between the PC and the TV and will instead use this cable here (which is also commonly available from Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc.):
Do you have that cable connected and is the TV in the PC Input mode?
This is Jack again .
So yesterday when i was asking you about the VGA , you were actually in HDMI !?
No wonder it did not work and now i`m not sure how you figure you will get a signal if the cable is not connected to the PC ???!!!
Connect that vga cable at both ends , tv and pc then set the tv to PC or RGB input and you WILL have control over it .
It will NOT work in HDMI
