When you attempt to connect the TV to the wireless signal, what happens? On the TV, go to Menu/Settings > Newtork > Wireless. And then choose to connect to the signal.

What asks you to press Source? You don't have to press Source. Are you trying to connect your TV to the Internet or are you trying to connect your Comcast box to the Internet?

Okay. Choose Wireless, then connect to the wireless signal, and enter the wireless password.

I click on tools on the hand held then network settings. It asks if I am wireless and its checking the network connection

Okay. I don't know where in the configuration you are. GO TO settings. Then go to Network. Then go to Wifi. Then connect. Do that, please.

On your TV remote, go to Menu, Settings, Network
Next select Network Settings, Start, IP Settings
Then select DNS mode and make sure the green check is on "manual"
Enter 8 8 8 8 and OK

After that is complete, test if you can access the Internet or not.
