Does this happen on all sources/inputs?
Initially, please look at the back of the tv and check carefully to see where the connections from your primary device are plugged in. For example you may have a cable box plugged into hdmi1, dvd on hdmi2 or component 1, etc.

Then, take the proscan tv remote and press the INPUT (source/video) button, repeatedly, until you get back to the corresponding mode, such as hdmi1 in this example. If that doesn't help, let me know.
