Hello, It's not a sensor that's bad if Netflix is freezing as well. I know what causes this in your set, and I need more info to help you:

1) What's the model number off of the back of the Vizio?

2) How old is it?

3) Are you looking to repair it yourself?

You can reply back here at anytime with the model number. I cannot call you and the site charges you extra for that service.
