I have a Sony TV, about 7 years old but I'm pretty sure is in good condition, and we are hooked up to the internet with Telus. Last night I was trying to play a CD on a DVD player I also have hooked up to the TV and somehow have lost control of the sound, as in I can't turn it up or down and I also cannot mute the TV.
I was in a couple of menus and I think I may have confused something. I also have been on the phone with Telus today and they ran checks on their end and concluded that it's the TV.
I have called Sony TV support and a young woman said she would send me an email with suggestions, etc., but it never arrived!
I realize the TV is not new, but I'm pretty sure the problem is in the menus...either TV or Telus or maybe even the DVD player. Can you help??
