Just moved into home, purchased tv, installed has at&t uverse cable connected just cant get the volume. Ive changed the channels etc but no volume

This one is the 55" in my den, and i have the same tv 48" in bedroom, no issues with that one.
I get picture just no volume

I understand. What I need you to do if possible, is access the menu. Can you get to it either with the remote or from the controls on the TV?

The reason I ask, is it looks like Vizio wants you to use the SmartCast app from your phone as your primary remote? Try that to see if you can access the volume controls and let me know.
