My LG TV goes off on it own and I have to turn it manually.

Customer Question

My LG TV goes off on it own and I have to turn it manually. It does this every 2-5 minutes
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix. The TV Technician I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: Please this TV goes off on its own. I thought it was the power cord, so I bought a new cord, and amazingly it worked for 3 days without the problem. And then the next morning whiles I was watching it, was gone. Help me please!
JA: Is there anything else important you think the TV Technician should know?
Customer: Yes, sometimes when I unplug the power cord, and turn on the does not show picture, just sound, so I have to turn it off again before I get picture for a few minutes and then it shuts down on its own. Its so frustrating to me, help me please. I have no money for a new one.
JA: I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the TV Technician about your situation and connect you two.

In a nutshell you have a problem with one of the boards in the set likely at this stage to be the power or mainboard now to move on with this will need you or someone you know to do the work (with my help) of identifying what board is bad and replacing that board let me know if this is something you can consider.

If not then you will need a tech will locate a tech in your area

I am sorry its nothing easier

Let me know
