Who is your tv channel provider?
Do you normally change channels with the AKAI remote or with the channel provider's remote?
So you do not get any tv channels?
Who is your cable company?
Is there a cable box with cable company remote?
When you use the volume up/down buttons, do you see something come up on the screen that shows the volume is going up and down?
