Hi Don,

There is no fuse for sound.

Check that all replacement capacitors are securely soldered in place and there are no cold solder joints or broken tracks around the soldered area.

Other components nearby may have gotten damaged through thermal shock when the capacitors were being replaced if a lot of heat was applied to the board - check for any visual signs of burning to other components.

I have replaced the 6 caps (capxon) in the neighborhood of the sound connectors. It made no improvement. The other caps are Lelon brand. None appear to bad, but...
I do keep an eye out for cold solder joints and cracked traces.

If sound was working ok previously then something has changed...

check the board connections, wiring, etc - perhaps something is loose?

Are there voltage points that I could check to make the audio section of the board is powered? I tried to do a factory reset using the Vol down + Input button, but the set did not go into technician mode.

I don't have any schematics to hand for this particular model, however the voltage test points are usually marked on the circuit boards.

Is there anyone else here on Just answer that would have schematic?

I will check.
