Although I get a clear picture on all other channels

Customer Question

Although I get a clear picture on all other channels Channels 9 and 90+ have intermittent horizontal black lines and blotches. Sometimes, a totally disturbed screen. This has occurred in, about, the last month. My television gets a clear picture.
I assume that these channels are not properly tuned but I cannot see how to check this.

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

I would advise you that, if the problem is with only one channel, then the problem almost certainly originates or originated at the other end.

But if it is simply that its frequency or center band has drifted with time, or been reset slightly differently, then you could try doing a Channel Scan with your TV, and see what the results are. I doubt any such measure will do much... if only one channel has a problem, you have a channel that's being broadcast, mastered, or transmitted badly, I think.
