How do you get your stations?
Antenna, basic cable, cable/satellite box, etc?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
basic cable
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
will work through internet
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

Okay, for basic cable, you need to run the auto program (channel scan).

Put the samsung into the TV (air/cable) input mode (not hdmi, video, etc).

Then into the menu under channels, and run the auto scan/program function.

If that still doesn't work, let me know the complete model number of the tv, if this has worked before, and who your cable provider is.

samsung un40eh5300f we have been successful doing auto scan before Margaretville Telephone Co.

Okay if you have a cable box, then that is not basic cable.

How, specifically, is the box connected to the tv?
