I have a insignia tv and last night the was liquid spilled on the remote and it no longer works I can turn the tv on manually but all that is on the screen is run chanel auto scan and I can not get a picture because the remote has the hdmi that I need to get a picture is there any suggestions on what I can do and how do I go about getting a new remote

Heather, please look on the lower right edge of the tv, and you'll see a grouping of buttons there.

There is an onboard INPUT button here. You can press that, repeatedly, to cycle through the input modes until you get to hdmi, to watch your cable/satellite box.
