I have a Sharp LC-46SB57U liquid Crystal Tv. It al of a

sudden will not power up...

I have a Sharp LC-46SB57U liquid Crystal Tv. It al of a sudden will not power up black screen and power light blinks 2 times and then a third time along with OPC light. It was suggested to me that it could be the power supply board, ordered and replaced still same senerio. Does the lights flashing indicate anything some online blogs say there also may be a reset or software update may need to be done.

While holding them plug it in.

Wait 10 seconds

let go.

Still a black screen, I hear a click coming from power supply when powering up but black screen and now a solid green power light but always started out that way then the flashing would start, I still have the back off tv and power chord is all that is connected at this time, not sure if it makes a difference to get a screen on display.

Now it is blinking, I think sequence is one blink green on both power and OPC and then two blinks on power only then repeats.

OK you need to replace the main-board that is the board with all the inputs on, now this is a code but sharp only say it can be main or power you have replaced the power so that just leaves the main, you need to get the partnumber from the board on a sticky label and google for suppliers (as your in the philippines)

It says above the country of posting is philipinnes its a mistake
