Our big screen TV has started having a line about 6" down the middle of the screen the cable Co said it was our TV, not the cable. Can you tell me what's wrong?

Hello, I need to know what COLOR this line is.

Also, grab the original Samsung remote (not the cable remote) and press MENU. Does the TV's MENU appear over this line, or does the line appear over the MENU?
