Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

Are you referring to an espon projector?

Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

If so, then no, it cannot. At least not directly.

The projector is intended as a display device only and has no audio processing or output facilities.

In most projector installations there is a separate sound system, fed directly from the source device.

So if you have an amplifier, you'd connect it with a separate cable (stereo, optical, etc) to your source (cable/satellite box, dvd player, pc, etc).

Alternately, for a home theater situation, you'd usually have an AV receiver, which would accept inputs from all your sources, route and amplify audio to the speakers, and route video to the projector.

If you need more specifics, amp recommendations, etc, just let me know.
