Hello , my name is Jack
Perhaps I can help you with this problem but first i would have a few questions so could you please send me a reply when you see this ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
what questions
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Never mind the phone offer if you get one .

How many blinks of the red light between short pauses ?

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

The payment did not clear but then again we DO NOT need the phone for now anyway

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Can you tell me about those blinks , there should be a pattern like for example 5 blinks/pause/5 blinks and so on

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Right now here is what you can do ;

Unplug the power off the panel/monitor and media box then pull out the system cables at both ends and re-insert them securely .

Once that is done wait another minute and reconnect the power cords and try it again .

If that does not work then give me that blink code

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
should i count how many times it flashes
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

That's correct that is what I`m asking and try that reset I just described

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
okay
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Let me know how that goes and as I said if the reset does not do it then give me that number of flashes

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it blinks 3 times and pause
Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

O.k and did you try the reset ?

If not then simply pull the power cord out a couple of minutes

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

On both the media box and panel

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

Can you see a brief flash of light when you first try to turn it on ?

Expert:  Jack replied 1 year ago.

If the reset did not work as I suspect then here is what this blink code means (link below) ;

That is a sustain board and scan drives that are connected to it inside the monitor/panel .

Not exactly a DIY type of job unless you are very comfortable working with electronic equipment .

You are looking at around $150 in parts and then perhaps another $200 to have this diagnosed and repaired at home then probably some $50 less if you could take it to the shop yourself .

If you need to find repair shops near you then look at the links below and enter your zip code ;
www.tvrepairpros.com
Or this one;
http://www.tvrepairman.com

This will give you a list of repair shops in your area.
You could give a call to different shops in your area to get an idea of their rates , it pays to shop around.

If that answers your question please do not forget to rate so i get paid for my time helping you and you can use the reply button before or after rating if you have other questions or need help , thank you
