Or just the settings menu in General?
Ok, to be sure its not the remote messing up, can you put new batteries in the remote and tell me if you still have the issue please.
Can you then unplug it from the power.
Then on the TV itself hold the power button in for 60 seconds then release.
Then wait 10 minutes
connect the power and tell me if the menu now stays on the screen please.
Still the menu wont stay up longer then 3 seconds correct?
It is the internal memory that has faulted.
A corrupted firmware can cause this. But we have ruled this out by trying to hard reset it. The fact that the menu will not even stay up, confirms this as the issue. It is not a software problem (we ruled this out)
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the TV to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
