I was on annhour ao wth Aric who advised me to contact my cavle company re the black box on my tv screen. They rebooted the cable box and the problem still exists. When I hold down the volume control on the Panasonic remote the box disappeas however it
returns when I let it go.

Try to play another source on the TV- like a DVD player or game console- anything besides the cable box and see if the issue persists.
