What do you mean by weak? Slow, prone to interruptions/buffering? Or did you get messages such as low signal strength?How far is the tv from the router?

Also, that is a netflix specific error code.I was looking more for a vizio error, if any.Can you go into the tv setup menu, under network/wireless, and tell me what you see?Does it show it is currently connected to your home wifi?

So the network has changed?If so, you have to reconfigure the vizio to connect to the new network. I assume that is what your son did for you.
